Terms of Service

The service

rev.chat (the "Service") is a hosted chat tool that lets you embed a bot on your website. The bot answers visitors using the knowledge sources you upload and captures leads on your behalf.
By signing in, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

You must be at least 18 to use the Service. Keep your sign-in credentials confidential — actions taken from your account are your responsibility.
One workspace is created per signed-up account. You may invite teammates if your plan supports it.

Plan prices and inclusions are displayed on rev.chat/pricing and may change for new sign-ups; your current plan's price will not change mid-period.
We meter "conversations" — one distinct visitor session counts as one conversation regardless of how many messages are exchanged. Some premium AI models count as 2 or 3 conversations against your plan's monthly budget so we can keep base pricing simple.
Captured leads are unlimited on every plan.
Subscriptions renew monthly or yearly. Cancel anytime from your dashboard — you keep access until the end of the period you've paid for.
We don't offer pro-rated refunds for partial periods, but if something broke and we can't fix it, email hello@rev.chat and we'll make it right.

Don't use the Service to send spam, harass people, distribute malware, or violate anyone's rights.
Don't try to extract another customer's data, abuse our infrastructure, or otherwise interfere with the Service.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

You own the knowledge sources you upload, the bot configuration you create, and the leads you capture. We don't claim any rights to that content — we just store and process it to run your bot.
You grant us the limited license needed to host the Service: caching, transmission, backups, and feeding the content into the model you've selected.

Bot replies are generated by third-party AI models routed through OpenRouter and grounded in the sources you upload. We make a best effort to keep replies accurate, but we don't guarantee they are.
You're responsible for reviewing your sources and the personality / instructions you give your bot.

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, rev.chat is not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Our total liability in any 12-month period is capped at the amount you paid us during that period.

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced on this page and via email if you have an account. Continued use after a change means you accept the update.
